Agreed. After having known people who have in my lifetime does not make me an expert, it does put Socialism in its proper place. None of the people I met liked living with it.

I think it has to do with the prevailing entitlement mentality. Weirdly enough people tend to trust government more than they do politicians. Politicians run the government.

Is it not convoluted then for the younger generation to buy into Socialism in some cases?

As hard as they can be to listen to at times, I will say that Mark Levin and Michael Savage get it right when addressing the evils of Socialism.
