The Problem With Socialism

The government does not create wealth. It has no money to spend without tax revenue and money printing. Free stuff from the government is a ruse, and nothing in this life is free, somebody pays for it.

We can’t just tax the rich people to pay for the free stuff because they can afford to move themselves and their money someplace else. The only people left to pay for the free stuff will be the working class and they are taxed to the point of working for several months out of the year to pay taxes and government fees. Obamacare has doubled their healthcare costs and co pays,

If these young people think socialism is a great system, Venezuela 🇻🇪 is in dire need of new people to tax.

Margaret Thatcher described Socialism as a system where you run out of other people’s money.

Are you a fan of Mark Levin or Michael Savage?

I am a fan as well. My only real problem is with how they tend to treat their callers at times.

That seems to be a common thread on call in shows. Savage has gotten a little bit better over the years. I used to think he need some anger management at times. He got pretty riled up and borderline abusive.

If the man was just frustrated at the current state of affairs, that would be understandable. Assuming that he was taking his frustration out on his callers, that is abusive. When he was in radio, what were your inclinations regarding Neal Boortz?

Agree with you on that. I mainly listen to podcasts anymore. I have heard his name but not familiar with his views.

Jordan Peterson and Dr. Bregin is a psychologist with his ow website and podcasts. He is a very kind and humble man with a knack for helping people who are troubled.

Unless I am mistaken, are you talking about the same Jordan Peterson who launched a 3rd Party Presidential bid?

Not sure about that. He is a bit too smart and honest to be a politician. 😉

You are welcome. He helped me with some of my passive aggressive issues, just by listening to one of his podcasts.

If you don’t mind my asking, what has been the cause of these issues? Frustration about the current state of things?

That would be a long and complicated explanation. In short, we have too many people getting money from the government, with not enough paying back in. I have no problem with people getting benefits from the government who are severely disabled, who have paid into SSI and Medicare, and Veterans benefits.
We should first honor these commitments, and then make cuts across the board with nothing else off the table. It is the third rail of politics anymore to suggest shrinking government. Politicians do not have the courage to tackle it.
Another way to paint a more honest picture of where we are as an economy would be to remove government spending from the advertised GDP. This would put the debt crisis in proper perspective.
Those are just a couple of examples and possible solutions.

Sorry I went the wrong direction.
I had some passive aggressive issues in my personal relationships, that needed to be .resolved. He suggested to speak up at the time and not hold back.

That is not a problem. I hope my question was not seen as prying.

Not at all. Most things I don’t mind sharing, except the real personal things.

I will do the best I can to not get into the none of my business personal stuff, if you take my meaning. However, if I ask something that I deem as a personal curiosity, it will be related to what you post on your blog or other material relevant to anything encompassing politics.
