As Speaker of the House, Pelosi is in charge of divvying up NATO’s trillion
dollar slush fund. It is more than the U.S. defense budget. It is more than
the budgets of 27 of the 28 countries in NATO. Only the U.S. has a budget
of over a trillion dollars. The U.S. has been paying from 66 to 82.5 per
cent of the NATO budget since 2011. Both slabs of pork, the U.S. and NATO’s
defense budget, are courtesy of U.S. taxpayers. Five billion dollars to
support the Mexican border wall to protect American citizens has never been
voted on or approved. Sources are NATO and the Congressional Record.

They are spending money like it belongs to someone else, hey wait, it does belong to someone else………the taxpayers. Trump should grow a pair and veto this until he gets our wall.
1. That’s a veto proof majority with that much GOP support, so good chance it would have that much support in the Senate as well.
2. That’s not how NATO funding works at all. You want lower those percentages? Stop spending so much on OUR military, because that’s where that 70% number comes from. Overall we cover roughly 22 percent of common NATO funds.

I agree with you on all points. Still do the veto and smoke out those RINO Republicans for what they are…..and make a big deal about them making nice with the Democrats and Euro States while ignoring our own security concerns. JMHO

When you have Germany allowing a Russian pipeline into their country, and asking us to protect them from the Russians? NATO needs to go away with the UN, both have outlived their usefulness. As the good Doctor would say, “it is time for us to stop being the worlds policeman”. JMHO
