Chief Justice John Roberts’s assertion that we have an “independent judiciary” lacks credibility.

It seems that some in the judiciary branch are indeed choosing sides. This is why activists go Judge shopping to legislate from the bench. As I like to often quote, “A Judge is nothing more than a lawyer in a robe”.

Yep. Roberts unsurprisingly engaged in a the logical sophism of legalism. He stated a specific fact or general trend in a manner that falsely applied it to more general situation being spoken of.

There really are no “Obama Judges” or “Bush Judges” since judges, once appointed rarely feel the need to show overt loyalty to the POTUS who gave them the job. This is even more true when said POTUS is no longer in office. Yet, POTUS’s appoint judges who have an understanding of the job and the law that matches at least somewhat closely with their own and that understanding is unlikely to change throughout said judges’ careers.
