The ESA Is Launching a Mission to the Moon — of an Asteroid

For some small minority of humans, “death by asteroid” is a desirable fate. The idea probably satisfies their wonky doomsday thinking. But for the rest of us, going out the same way the dinosaurs did would just be embarrassing. Thankfully, the ESA’s Hera mission will visit the smallest space rock ever, and will help us avoid going the way of the dinosaurs.For added kicks, it will forestall the happiness of any over-eager doomsday cultists, and the rest of us can revel in their existential anguish.

I have no problem with any religion that honors peace, freedom, non violence, and basic human rights. We are all God’s children regardless of which God we pray to.

All this was new to me because I never really knew about Islam growing up. I used to be afraid of Muslims and Arabs as a kid because all of the negativity coming from the news stations. I remembered 9/11 and San Francisco closing off the Golden Gate Bridge. Through a strange twist of events, I found out my grandma is Lebanese.

A short note on India’s air strikes in Pakistan

Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale, while issuing a statement with regard to India’s air strikes on a training camp of the dreaded terror group Jaish-E-Muhammad (JeM) in Pakistan on February 26, 2019, dubbed these as pre-emptive ‘non-military strikes’. The Foreign Secretary stated that the Indian Air Force hit the largest training camp of the JeM, which is in Balakot, Pakistan, and a large number of JeM terrorists were killed in the strike.

The rising tensions between both countries have understandably caught the world’s attention.

JeM had claimed responsibility for the dastardly terror attack in Pulwama, Kashmir, on February 14, 2019 in which over 40 CRPF soldiers were killed. While efforts have been made to designate JeM chief a ‘global terrorist’ at the UN, China has blocked such moves.

Tnx, JGE ANSWER: She actually has a greater following than Schumer or Pelosi, and they seem to be letting her run wild. My discussions in Washington were enlightening. There are many people in the Democratic Party who actually think their people want more taxes and agree with her New Green Deal. Their corporate sponsors will run in the other direction. The real damage is being created because this only adds to the polarization we see in 2020. Long-term, there is ZERO hope of ever getting back to a normal government. We have entered the realm of hate politics.
