Inflation

Who is to blame?

The government spends more than it takes in, and that causes inflation. Uncontrolled borders cause inflation because you use more gas, food, and housing for the immigrants. Supply and demand, plain and simple. You cannot bring millions of people into our country in a relatively short period of time and not expect prices for everyday needs to go up. The welfare state is also to blame when it gives out free food, healthcare, and housing. This drives demand and the inflation that comes with it.

Our immigration policy is bringing cheap labor for businesses to exploit at the cost of American workers. In the end, the American taxpayer gets the bill and the shaft. They get low wages, higher prices, and fewer benefits. Americans on a fixed income really feel the pinch due to the CPI-based raises they get every year. The CPI never truly reflects the true cost of inflation. Many pensions do not include a CPI adjustment.

Then you add in the fraud factor in the welfare state, which tells us that our administrative and political class has failed us. Welfare fraud is rampant and so obvious that a blind man could see it. The government incompetence is staggering.

The bottom line here is that politicians are buying votes with our money, and we, who pay into the system, are paying the bill. This is taxation without representation.
