Democratic states are bankrupt. They have sanctuary cities, expensive public pension obligations, free social services and healthcare for illegals. All of this is a ruse to get more money from the rest of us to fund their expensive social programs.
They are shutting down their economies so they can plead poverty and get federal bailout subsidies. The solvent states are opening their economies back up to get tax revenues flowing and people back to work.
This is nothing more than a gimmick to get welfare state status from the rest of us and our children, and grandchildren. That is who will end up getting the bill.
Just make sure you remember who locked you down and took your job and dignity In November when you vote.
