Perhaps we should move to Brazil.
Growing up was simple. If you were a guy, you went into the guys’ bathroom.

There’s a method to their madness. I wonder how many readers realize that they never stop. They must have a growing list of topics, that change daily depending upon our responses, ready to go at a moments notice, lest we relax and have time to contemplate what is really happening. There’s a reason this is so.

Their divide and conquer playbook is probably thicker than War and Peace. More distractions while both political parties run up the debt to infinity and beyond. Sadly it works on the masses.

Many do not know how much other countries, including the former Soviet Union have affected us. During WWII, they understood we could not be conquered from without. The best way to defeat an “enemy” is by demoralizing them. I checked. Pre-world war, most of our movies were made in America: many family and pro-American. There was a quick shift to international movies and the quality changed dramatically. They’re in the media, in our schools, in Congress, in our universities, in our industries. Else how could the foundations of our country have changed so much from the 50s?

I think you have observed a trend that I certainly had missed. Good observation. The foundation of globalism.

The enemy within is always the most dangerous.

The difficulty is the effort to input false thinking and make it a trend. I encourage parents to homeschool for the first few years at least. Understand how your children think, show them how to reason when they make mistakes, but encourage them to try, make mistakes, and rethink. As a teacher, I encourage the students to take a stance, but support it with real facts and understanding/experiences. Then, sometimes, I challenge their information upon which they have the opportunity to reevaluate. In the home, that can take place even more. Then, when they do go to a public school, their reasoning is intact. There are good teachers, but there are too many who don’t understand the real reason for education.

I like your advice. I spent a few years in the Army before going to college. My eyes were much more open than the kids right out of high school.

It would be interesting, and probably an improvement, if teachers had to demonstrate at least 3 years working for private companies, and at least 1 in sales, or two years running their own businesses. The problem with theory is anything can look good inside the mind, but practical application demonstrates the flaws in anyone’s thinking.

Good points. My night school professors all had full time day jobs. I learned so much more from them than the full time professors.
