Peace between Korea won’t mean homecoming for U.S. troops | McClatchy Washington Bureau

With new troops rotating to the Korean Peninsula out of Fort Hood, Texas and Fort Sill, Oklahoma, the Pentagon says it’s too soon to talk withdrawals on the Korean Peninsula and that they’re continuing to provide the president with military options, even as North and South Korea begin to talk about ending the war that has been stalemated for almost 70 years.
