…Trading in an expensive monthly gym membership for a basic electric treadmill.

My husband’s work schedule has been chaotic to say the least, with him typically arriving at work by 7 A.M. and not making it home until 6-7 P.M. He is exhausted and clutching to whatever family time he can get, and like it or not, even the extra time and planning of driving to the gym, showering and changing in a locker room and then driving to work from the gym first thing in the morning is time he does not have any more.

The childcare offered as part of a household membership at our YMCA is not such that I am comfortable leaving my daughter for even half an hour at a time. They are simply not attentive enough to the children as far as what I have observed. My options have therefore been limited to going…
