When the government declares war on anything, grab your wallet. Over the years political leaders have declared war on poverty, drugs, alcohol, terrorism, obesity, and the list goes on. What war have we won since WW2?

These wars are never ending and very expensive in lives and treasure, not to mention the freedoms we lose in the process. We declared a war on poverty 50 years ago, a war on drugs 30 years ago, the war on terrorism about 30 years ago……. the only results we seem to get are more government, more spending, and less freedom.

All of these bad things we declared war on are still with us. Give this some thought the next time you hear a politician declare a war on something or someone.
