Usually in the hunt for racists and other bogeymen who are blamed for the ills of society, they need look no further than the mirror. Projection and denial of cultural truths can be a shallow way to get yourself off the hook.

In the America that I know, a person is judged by their actions and behaviors on the personal level. A person is defined by their actions, not outward appearance. There are exceptions to this, but my experience with such people is limited to a very small percentage. JMHO
