The Battle is On. The House Republicans issued subpoenas to former FBI Director James Comey and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch before the Democrats take control. House Republicans subpoenaed Comey who had previously refused to testify privately and instead asked for a public hearing. Republicans have been investigating the FBI and Justice Department’s decision-making in 2016 and 2017. They are now after the possibility of a Deep State contending that there existed a very anti-Trump bias among senior officials who led the FBI to exonerate Hillary Clinton’s private email server. They are also seeking an investigation into the allegations of Trump campaign connections with Russia. But Democrats claim that the GOP investigation is political as if their’s has not been and it is intended for the 2020 election. So get ready for the next two years. All we will hear about is this Russian Conspiracy and effectively they will be planting the seeds for war.
