The Guns of April: Are We in a Pre-War Era, Right Now?
I certainly hope not but fear we are
I certainly hope not but fear we are
Bribes are being paid as we write
The unvarnished truth comes out of their mouths

Welcome to the second installment of “Children Say the Funniest Things.” As I stated in my previous installment, “Children Say the Funniest Things Part One,” I am a Physical Education teacher and have taught children on all levels…from Kindergarten to college. It has always ben one of my favorite things about teaching and fatherhood to listen to what kids say in certain situations or give their answers to…what we as adults think…simple questions.
So, sit back, relax, grab a cup of your favorite beverage and maybe a snack…and get ready to enjoy a giggle, a chuckle, or a good laugh.
A four year old girl was drinking a cup of cold orange juice when she suddenly got the hiccups. “Don’t give me this juice again,” she said. “It makes my teeth cough.”

This is alarming
We stand corrected. We keep reporting that we are fighting the Second American Revolution. But our continuing research is showing us that this is not the case. It appears that the first American Revolutionary War was never won, and we are still under British rule, in ways more sinister than the average person is aware.
It all started in our research of the Senior Executive Service. We showed you how this unconstitutional shadow government is highly organized and well paid. Its members are positioned within our civil service bureaucracies to overthrow the Republic in plain sight and establish itself as the governing body of Marxist globalists whose SES members work daily to thwart the will of the people, ignore and bastardize the rule of law, and destroy the Republic from within.

I figured you were an avid reader from your posts. That is one of my passions too. I read about two to three hours daily, mostly doing research. Keep on reading.
AH! So many books!!! I want this one…and Ooh this is so good too, and look… there is that book by my favorite author….Wait, here’s another one too.
Anecdotally, I know many people who are bibliomaniacs, including myself. The word ‘bibliophile ‘ means a lover of books. A more precise interpretation ‘bibliophile ‘ means someone who loves books – how they feel, smell and look. Of course, bibliophiles love collecting,*hoarding* books. Oh, come on, we all do it!
I have been a voracious reader all my life. I don’t ever remember not loving books. Reading broadens my knowledge. When it comes to reading my tastes vary on my mood. My Preferences generally lay on contemporary and fiction – although- I pretty much prefer reading fantasy. *sigh*
What I love about reading is that within moments I can be transported to a hundred years back to future unknown, to a world…

Introspection is the key to honest self esteem.
I lied and said I was busy. I was busy but not in a way most people understand. I was busy taking deeper breaths. I was busy silencing irrational thoughts. I was busy calming a racing heart. I was busy telling myself I am okay.
Sometimes this is my busy and I will not apologise for it. ~ B OAKMAN
This weekend was so so intense. I’m pretty much introverted and very sensitive too, so I tend to find busy environments like shopping malls rather overstimulating – so many people, so many noises, so much happening all at the same time (anyone else ever feel like that?!?🙉) While it may be interesting and exciting, by the end of the day I feel absolutely depleted (hence the beach was much needed!) That said I feel fortunate to be able to take a little holiday hiatus.➡1 week of filling my soul with…

Very inspirational
There’s always a moment. A moment when you decide ‘this is it’. That you’re going to be more than just normal. You’re going to live the life you want to live. The moment you know your life is about to change.
I have tried to think carefully about what I would like to share and I must admit that I have been a bit hesitant. No, not because I’m embarrassed (I’m a fairly open book) but because I think there’s an inherent danger in beautifying our “failures.” I think when people contribute and choose “failures” that are trivial (and I use the word with the utmost caution), it does little for the reader who is going through something much more…intense. There’s an insane pressure to choose failures that you can wrap up as fortune cookie lessons. I did not want to glorify the experiences that have led to my growth.
