The Taxed Enough Already movement was co opted and rendered impotent by attacks fro establishment politicians from both parties. With a national debt rounding the corner on 21 trillion dollars, you would think the emphasis would be on balancing the budget and paying down the debt.

The emphasis is on raising the gas tax and wiping out the very nice tax cut we all just got. The politicians spend money we do not have and then have the nerve to try and raise taxes on those of us who still actually pay them?

I agree with Pat on this one. The schools that the elite send their kids to are heavily guarded, as are the work places and homes of the elite. Why should the people who work to pay their wages not have the same security apparatus to protect them and theirs?
