Hillary to Run Again in 2020 | Armstrong Economics

Yes, the rumors are True. Hillary is indeed planning on running again in 2020. She will throw her Pants-Suit into the ring. I have been hearing that for months now from several sources. It has now even appeared in the Hill publication. Hillary is a diehard ’60s women’s libber and she actually believes it is her divine right to be the first woman president. The Clinton’s were masters at controlling the Democratic Party. Let’s see how she will get them to “plead” with her to run – that is what the rumor is behind the curtain. She will pretend there is nobody else and the Democrats will lay flowers at her feet and beg her to run.

The Midterm Election Showed Why We Need More States | Mises Institute

The midterm elections continue to play themselves out in various races throughout the country. The fight going on in Florida and Arizona over newly discovered ballots brings to mind the line attributed to Joseph Stalin, “It’s not the people who vote that count, it’s the people who count the votes.” While it may be too soon to come up with official vote totals for a few senate

France – Macron’s Popularity in a Free-Fall | Armstrong Economics

In France, things are not much better. Emmanuel Macron, the current president of the French Republic, has collapsed in popularity from 57% to just starting to break the 30% level. Macron has collapsed in popularity faster than Nicolas Sarkozy did, who was a one-term president. Macron said he wanted to turn France into the “Start-up nation” but really promised the same old traditional political agenda. Many are becoming concerned in France also about the massive immigration. Many French are calling it a Trojan Horse, for now, one-third of all births in France are from non-European. The problem with all the immigration has been that they dropped all requirements for some sort of skill. This is why many on the legal immigrants in Britain voted for BREXIT for they had had to have the work skill to get in like a doctor or nurse. Trump carried Florida and the Mexican vote for the same reason. So many had to prove they had a skill and go through the Green Card process for years to get in. Nobody is considering the sacrifices others made to migrate. Even the great 19th-century migration from Europe to America, there were no free handouts. They came for the opportunity to work – not a free meal.

Another globalist sock puppet falls on hard times, just like Merkel. People are no longer buying this snake oil they are trying to sell.

The Distrust of Government | Armstrong Economics

In Florida, the vote was very close. Ron DeSantis got nearly 40,000 more votes than socialist Andrew Gillum in the Florida governor’s race. Then Rick Scott over 15,000 more votes than Bill Nelson in the Senate race. Florida’s secretary of state ordered a recount Saturday afternoon for the elections for governor and U.S. Senate. Both races remain within the 0.5-percent margin of victory that triggers an automatic recount under state law. Clearly, with the recount for Governor and the Senate, the election is just not over. This is quite amazing but it reflects just how divided the nation has become. As the political chaos continues, we just may see the distrust of government send more and more capital fleeing from government bonds to equities. The warning signs are there always. Of course, if the Democrats come in under 47 in the Senate, we should expect that we are headed into a political shift that people never saw coming. Trump’s election has now been validated. The Republicans who retired because they did not support Trump, like Speaker Ryan, completely misread the warning signs. They may think they can hide their head in the sand, but there will be no place to hide. So get ready and buckle up. We may not have yet resolved the US elections, but we now have to turn and look at Europe. Welcome to the new interesting times. How everything shakes out will determine where capital flees to next.
