The Dysfunction in DC

The two party political system in America has failed us all, along with many future generations.

You may think that is a radical concept. Read on and what you see may give you a different perspective.

We are about 22 trillion dollars in debt with no end in sight. Both political parties have culpable responsibility in this sad fact. Consider the interest on this debt to be around 3%, and try to imagine that number.

Today’s taxpayers and future taxpayers will shoulder this burden. As of this year taxpayers pay more to the government than they spend on clothes and food combined.

If you do the math and watch the national debt climb, with the government getting bigger and more powerful, a rise in taxes will not be far behind.
