In a recent article, Alistair Crooke quotes former Israeli diplomat Alon Pinkas, who observes that Israel is in early stages of a civil war between the secular, modern Israel and the “Jewish-supremacist, ultranationalist” theocratic Israel. I Like This Approach
Hamas started this war by their attack on innocent civilians in Israel, they did not attack hard military targets. They tortured, raped, and killed non combatants. Most of the hostages kidnapped are dead from torture.
Israel attacked and killed civilians in pursuit of Hamas. Way too many have died in the response. Mossad has long tentacles, they could have targeted Hamas and killed them without the collateral damage done here. It turned into revenge instead of justice.
The leadership on both sides are the devils here, taking sides in wars is a fools errand, all wars are bad and should only be a last resort. The same people profit and the same people suffer, time to wake up to that fact.
