Back in the old days federal government derived its income from tariffs, duties, and money printing. About the time the central banks were created in America, the income tax was created. All of us who work know what that is.

In America, we all work until April or May to pay our federal taxes. If you figure state, local, and all other taxes, you are getting into July.

We now have a country where more people are directly, or indirectly getting government wages, assistance, or contracts, than are paying into the system. Our federal government is now 22 Trillion in debt.

Every time we hear a politician, or pundit tell us we need to pay more taxes. That is the best solution for them and their enablers. They seldom speak of shrinking the government, the ones that do are laughed off the stage or ignored.

The government does not create wealth, it only redistributes it.

I am down with the Yellow Vest movement in France 🇫🇷. The working classes need to rise up and say “no more”. Peaceful protests are always preferable. If the corrupt and self serving politicians refuse to listen and try to stop or vilify the protesters, history has shown us what comes next. Let’s not repeat those sad chapters in history, and instead, learn from them.🤔
