If this two tier justice system continues, people will feel powerless to get justice within the system.

Justice has always been rare, largely because no two people ever completely agree on what is a just response. Hence, this is more a matter of law and that is far worse since a two tier or identity-based (GOP v. Dem in this case) application of law will quickly cause people to, rightly at that point, feel powerless under the law. And that will lead to reprisals and individual / group actions against the those that literally and truly broke the law, such as this judge.

I agree with your statement in it’s entirety. It seems that our system of government is so corrupt that a soft reset is not possible. The just us system that we have is just a symptom of the disease.
