Senator John McCain recently warned of Trump’s “America first” rhetoric, describing it as “half-baked, spurious nationalism.” But every time McCain grandstands in front of Congress in an attempt to escalate conflict abroad, he is making the same argument for “blood and soil,” that these new nationalists make.
