I have been watching with keen interest the drama unfolding with the Immigrant invasion of Europe and America. Legal immigration and a sound vetting process are key to making immigration a good thing for the host countries. We should not import anyone without a sound vetting process. We should monitor and track people who are here as guests on visa programs.
The government has been unwilling and or unable to do either. They have no idea who is here, what their criminal past might be, how many are here, or why they are here. Why should we trust the politicians to bring more here with this terrible system that is in place? We are asking for trouble.
In my heart, I want to believe that the vast majority of immigrants are good people who are only seeking refuge in a better world. In reality, the government is creating mistrust in their secrecy and incompetence regarding this matter. The government’s number one and most important job is to keep Americans safe. They have failed in that sworn duty. At the same time, this very government who has failed us in protecting us wants to restrict legal gun ownership , while not prosecuting people committing gun crimes to the fullest extent of the law. How does that make sense, unless their is a nefarious agenda behind their motives?
