I wonder why he labels this “The First Jury Nullification”. It is far from it. It was preceded by the Philadelphia Treason Trials in 1778 and 1779 during the American Revolution, the acquittal of John Peter Zenger in colonial New York in 1734, Carnegie of Finhaven in Scotland in 1728, arguably a number of Salem witch trials in the 1690s, the very famous acquittal of William Penn in England in 1670, and John Lilburne was acquitted by jury nullification even before that in 1649 and 1653.
